In Loving Memory of Marley (MBMG)
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we pause to remember and honor the life of Marley, a 26-year-old whose life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in Chicago’s West Pullman neighborhood. His sudden passing has left a void that words can scarcely fill, echoing through the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
On that late Monday morning, what should have been an ordinary day turned into an unimaginable tragedy. Marley was found in the street, a victim of a brutal shooting that shook the community to its core. Witnesses described the horrifying sound of gunfire ringing through the neighborhood—dozens of shots that marked a moment of chaos and heartbreak. In the aftermath, more than 60 shell casings were recovered, painting a grim picture of the violence that claimed his life.
Yet Marley was far more than the circumstances of his passing.
