On that fateful evening in Columbus, Kentucky, what began as an ordinary night turned into a heartbreaking tragedy. According to authorities, the vehicle carrying Joshua, Shranda, and Krista struck a ramp near Ingram Barge Company before plunging into the river. The alarming sound of the crash drew immediate attention, and swift action followed as first responders rushed to the scene in hopes of rescue.

Despite the courageous and tireless efforts of emergency personnel, including a diver who descended into the dark waters to secure the vehicle, the outcome was one that no one could bear. When the car was finally recovered, all three occupants were found inside, having tragically lost their lives.
