Albert, 44, of Chilhowie, passed away after a single-vehicle crash involving a propane truck along the 8000 block of Crescent Road.
According to authorities, the crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. when the propane truck Albert was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a power pole, and overturned. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of medical personnel and those who fought to save him, Albert later succumbed to his injuries.
