Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of medical personnel and those who fought to save him, Albert later succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary reports from investigators indicate that Dennis was driving a side-by-side vehicle traveling southbound when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed the centerline. The side-by-side then ran off the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned in a violent crash that would ultimately claim his life.

    Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, but despite their efforts, Dennis was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by the Laurel County Coroner’s Office. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Austin was just 24 years old, a young man full of promise, compassion, and dreams yet to be realized. His sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

    According to the Oregon State Police, the tragic crash occurred around 5:44 p.m. near milepost 31 on the busy highway. Authorities reported that an eastbound Nissan Frontier crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a Honda Accord carrying Austin and two others. While emergency crews rushed to the scene and did everything they could, Austin was sadly pronounced deceased at the site of the crash. Two other occupants of the Honda were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, and the driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized.

    Though the investigation into the cause of the crash continues, what remains painfully clear is that a vibrant life was lost in an instant — a life that meant so much to so many.
