On that afternoon, officers from the Palestine Police Department responded to a crash along Old Elkhart Road near Academy Sports involving a motorcycle and an SUV. When first responders arrived, Stephen was found unresponsive. Despite the swift and determined efforts of those on the scene who fought to save his life, he was transported to the Palestine Regional ER, where he was later pronounced deceased. The news of his passing has since sent waves of grief through all who knew and loved him.

Stephen was more than just a name in a report—he was a son, a friend, a dreamer, and a bright light in the lives of many.
