According to the Greensboro Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:57 p.m. along Interstate 40 East, at the ramp leading to US 29 South. Emergency responders—including police, fire personnel, and Guilford County EMS—rushed to the scene following reports of a serious crash involving a motorcycle.

Kelvin was riding a Ducati motorcycle, navigating the transition from I-40 East to US 29 South, when the bike veered off the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail. The impact was catastrophic, ejecting him from the motorcycle. Despite the swift arrival of emergency services, Kelvin tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, seeking answers in the wake of this heartbreaking loss.
