On the evening of the tragic accident, Ralph had just taken a monumental step forward—he completed the National Registry Paramedic exam. In a bittersweet turn of fate, it was later confirmed that he had passed. He had achieved the very dream he worked so hard for. He had earned the title he longed to carry.
